Welcome to Classroom Corner!

It has been an exciting time at Tally as the end of the term draws near!

The student Newspaper, Tally Telegraph launched its first edition this week and we have all been enjoying catching up on the history of the school, reading entertaining stories, cartoons and jokes, fascinating interviews with teachers, as well as poetry from the winner of the Poetry Competition. The editorial team has done a great job and we can’t wait for the second edition next term! 

Year 3 and 6 students have taken us around the world this week!

Our Year 3’s held their Travel Expo and parents, carers and students were all excited to view the amazing displays of different countries from around the world. The students were able to tell us interesting facts about their chosen countries and gave very convincing arguments as to why we should all take a holiday and see the destinations for ourselves!

The Year 6 students held their annual Trade Fair. Each year, students design and create a country according to specific characteristics such as size, climate and environment. They develop the cultural characteristics and resources of the country and identify exports and imports needed. The resulting student displays and knowledge of trade is outstanding.
