School Reports

Semester 1 reports will be uploaded to XUNO on Thursday next week. A message will be sent to families once reports are available.

Intensive School Support

Our school will be participating in the department’s new Intensive School Support (ISS) initiative over the next two years.

As part of this, our school will receive prioritised support from the area and region, and priority access to department-led programs and professional learning.

As part of the program, in 2025 we will have the support of an ISS Senior Leader (an experienced principal based in the region), complemented by advice from an independent school improvement specialist who will undertake an alignment review between our school’s Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) and the supports provided by the region and the department.

This alignment review will include fieldwork at the school this term, including focus groups with staff and students, meetings with the school council president, and classroom observations.

Our school's alignment review will take part in Term 3 over a four a day period. During this time, a reviewer and a review team will be working across the school, talking to students, teachers and parents.

End-of-Term BBQ

Order forms for End-of-Term BBQ are now on XUNO. Please complete the order forms and send money to school, in a labelled envelope, by Friday 27th. For new families, at the end of Term 1, 2, and 3, our P&F host a BBQ lunch for our students. If you are available to assist, there is a box to tick on the order form.

Congratulations Mrs O'Rielly

Mrs O'Rielly, our PE teacher, has just returned home from Singapore where she competed in the United Masters & Commonwealth Masters Championship and represented Australia. Sam is now a record holder in 2 events and came home with 1st place medals. Well done, Mrs O'Rielly.

2.30pm dismissal - Friday 4th July

Given this is our final newsletter for Term 2, I wish you all a restful mid-year break and keep warm. Students return to school on Monday 21st July.
