Caroline Chisholm Day – Friday 26 June

On Friday, 26 June, students and staff will come together to celebrate Caroline Chisholm Day, an important and joyful occasion in our College calendar that honours the life and legacy of our patron, Caroline Chisholm.

The day will begin with homeroom activities, followed by a whole-school Liturgy in the COLA, where we will gather as a community in prayer and reflection. Students will then take part in a range of fun, student-led activities organised by Years 9–12.

Caroline Chisholm Day is both a celebration of community and a fundraising event, with proceeds supporting Caritas Australia and St Vincent de Paul. It is a meaningful opportunity for students to put their faith into action by supporting those in need, both locally and globally.

Students may wear their sports uniform for the day and are encouraged to bring a hat and apply sunscreen. As this is a compulsory College event, attendance is expected for all students.

Important Information for Families:

  • The College operates cashless; CCC tokens must be pre-purchased via the QKR app by midnight, Tuesday 23 June
  • Tokens will be distributed to students in homeroom on the day
  • Selected food items (including pizza and Krispy Kreme) can be pre-ordered via QKR
  • No cash will be accepted on the day
  • The canteen will be closed, and students are not permitted to order external food deliveries

Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of food stalls, activities, and experiences, including games, rides, and entertainment, all organised to build community and support our fundraising efforts.

We look forward to a wonderful day of celebration, connection, and generosity, as our students honour the example of Caroline Chisholm and live out our shared commitment to faith in action.

Upcoming Formation Days: A Time to Reflect, Connect, and Grow

As a faith-based community, we are delighted to share that each year groups will participate in their annual Formation Day on Tuesday, 30th June. This is an important day which is dedicated to reflection, spiritual growth, and strengthening connections with one another and with God.  This is a compulsory school activity, and attendance for all students is a college expectation.

Some year groups will take part in these days on-site, while others will venture off-campus, providing a change of environment that encourages deeper focus and renewal. Regardless of location, each Formation Day is thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate themes that reflect the unique stage of growth and development of our students.

Formation Days are not simply a break from routine; they are an important part of our students’ faith and spiritual development. Grounded in our Catholic tradition, these days invite students to pause amidst the busyness of life to reflect on their faith, build meaningful relationships, and connect their own journey with God’s purpose and the wider community. In this space of stillness, students deepen their sense of identity, belonging, and what it means to live the Gospel in their daily lives.

These days also reflect the strong partnership between home and school in nurturing each student’s faith journey. We encourage families to speak with their daughters following the day, creating space for them to share their experiences and reflections.
