Wellbeing Update
Welcome back to all of our students, families and staff for Term 3. We hope everyone had a restful break and found some time to recharge and enjoy time together with family and friends. We are looking forward to another exciting term of learning, growth and connection at Caulfield Primary School.
This term, our Parent Wellbeing Morning Tea will focus on Teaching Expected Behaviours: Creating a Shared Language Between Home and School.
Research consistently shows that children are more successful when the important adults in their lives use consistent language, expectations and strategies to support them. During this session, we will explore how our school's School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) approach helps us explicitly teach and encourage the behaviours we want to see, just as we teach academic skills.
Families will have the opportunity to learn more about our wellbeing and behaviour support approaches, including how expected behaviours are taught and reinforced across the school, and practical ways that similar language and strategies can be used at home. By working together and creating a shared language between home and school, we can provide children with greater consistency, confidence and opportunities for success.
We warmly invite all parents and carers to join us for refreshments, a conversation and an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school in supporting our students to thrive.
