Hello from 3S

3S have had a wonderful start to Term 2, settling back into school routines with enthusiasm and positivity. A strong focus has been placed on kindness and building respectful relationships, with students demonstrating care and consideration for one another both in and out of the classroom.

In Numeracy, students have been actively engaged in a range of fun activities and games designed to build their understanding of division and fractions. These hands-on experiences have helped strengthen their confidence and problem-solving skills. In Literacy, the class has begun reading the novel The Iron Man, sparking curiosity and thoughtful discussions as they explore the story together.

It has also been a busy and meaningful start to the term beyond the classroom. Students proudly participated in the school cross country event, showing determination and resilience. They commemorated ANZAC Day during a special service at school, and deepened their understanding about the ANZACS through literature, discussions and activities. This week students were involved in a special Indigenous Welcome to Country Smoking Ceremony which was very meaningful and informative.

3S are looking forward to a fun-filled term ahead, with plenty of exciting learning opportunities to come.
