Illustrator and author, Marc Martin, is the 2026 Premiers’ Reading Challenge Illustrator Ambassador.
Marc Martin is an international award-winning author and illustrator of picture books.
He has twice been awarded Best Illustrated Picture Book by the New York Times, for A River, and We Are Starlings.

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge application
Children from Prep to Year 2 are encouraged to read or ‘experience’ 30 books with their parents and teachers. Children from Year 3 to Year 10 are challenged to read 15 books.
