The Brentwood Parents and Friends Association are very pleased to update you on the success of our fundraising activities in Semester 1, 2025.

Triva Night: Laughter, Music and Community Connection

On June 27th, the Parents and Friends Association hosted the much-anticipated 2025 Trivia Night – a highlight of the school calendar that brought parents, staff, past students and friends together for an evening of fun and camaraderie. The event was full of laughter as teams huddled over tricky questions and friendly rivalries emerged!

One of the night’s memorable moments was the sneak peek performance by the talented cast of Spamalot. Not to be outdone though, our trivia players also flexed their vocal cords with some amazing renditions of “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”! It was so great to see everyone getting in to the spirit.

Our sincere thanks go to the many local businesses and families who so generously donated to the Trivia Night and Online Raffle. The diversity and quality of donations reflected the depth of generosity within our extended community.

Just as important were the contributions of our attendees. Their enthusiastic participation in every aspect of the night – from the ever-popular coin toss to the silent auction bidding – was both appreciated and vital to our fundraising success. Every ticket purchased, every laugh shared, and every coin tossed helped us move closer to our fundraising goals.

So it is with great pleasure that we are thrilled to announce that the combined efforts of the Trivia Night and our Online Raffle raised over $5000! These funds will be donated to support the Brentwood Performing Art’s program and this year’s production of Monty Python's Spamalot.

A huge thanks to all the volunteers that helped in the months of preparation, making decorations and gathering donations, as well as setting up the hall and helping on the night. Thanks also to all the school staff for their wonderful support of the event.

Music Gala BBQ

Hot on the heels of the trivia festivities, our PFA team were out again on July 3rd cooking up a storm and feeding the hungry hoards attending (or participating in) Brentwood’s annual Music Gala. With perfect timing the last sausage was sold right as the interval ended!

A successful night saw us raise $422 which will directly benefit the school’s thriving music program.

Thanks to our Brentwood community for a fantastic first half of the year, every contribution – big or small – makes a difference and special thanks go to our PFA volunteers who offer their time so generously.
