Community Success Stories
We are proud to recognise the achievements of our students both within and beyond the school community. From sporting success and creative accomplishments to volunteering and community involvement, these students have demonstrated commitment, talent and a willingness to make a positive contribution.
Year 12
Oleg V has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to volunteering through a volunteer-led snorkelling and ocean education program. Over the past two years, Oleg has contributed an impressive 395 hours of volunteering, helping others learn about and connect with our marine environment.
Luca P, an IPP student in year 12, recently represented Australia at the 2026 UCI Junior Track World Championships in Belgium. Competing against the world’s best junior
cyclists, Luca and his team achieved an outstanding 6th-place finish overall. We are incredibly proud of Luca’s dedication, hard work and achievement on the international stage.
Year 9
Elise E has been selected to represent South Australia through the ILCA Oceania Solidarity Program. As part of the program, Elise will participate in the sailing season, attend Nationals and receive one-on-one coaching.
Anasia E has achieved an incredible creative milestone, publishing her first novel, A Tale Etched in Fire. She is already working on the sequel, continuing to develop her skills and passion for writing.
Year 8
Connor B has joined the CFS, contributing his time and energy to supporting the local community and developing valuable skills through his involvement.
Year 7
Ethan A competed in a Melbourne basketball tournament where his team won all seven matches, including the Grand Final. Ethan made a significant contribution to the team's success, scoring an impressive 109 points across the seven games.
Lenie R was selected to compete in the U14 FSA Emerging Squad statewide soccer competition in Melbourne. This is an outstanding achievement, with Lenie being selected for the competition for the third consecutive year.
Joel S represented his club at the State Athletics Competition in February, achieving excellent results. He placed 3rd in both the 100m and 200m events.
Silas O was part of the South Adelaide Basketball Club team that competed in the South City Tournament. The team went on to win the tournament — congratulations to Silas and his teammates!
Aria L has demonstrated impressive dedication to her artwork, successfully completing a detailed full-body and half-body design. The project took approximately three months to complete, showcasing her creativity, patience and commitment to developing her artistic skills.
