Over the last week, we busily prepared for our celebration of the special people in our lives, before Father's Day. The children chose to celebrate a range of important figures in their lives, and we were lucky enough to welcome many of them to our special breakfast, last Thursday morning. 

 Heading into the last week of Term 3, our Numeracy focus is on multiplication and multiplicative thinking. The children are working hard to learn a range of games that test our mathematical fluency, as well as grouping, representing and writing multiplication problems in a range of ways. 

Our final Literacy focus of the term will conclude with our final informative writing pieces. The children have been working hard, writing about the phases of life cycles, or slugs and snails. Their final phases will include research and feedback before they finalise information reports, and scientific drawings. 

This term has been full of lots of change, and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your flexibility, support and patience. The children's resilience and perseverance have been showcased time and time again, and I am proud of how much they have all grown in the face of challenge.
