FIRST NATIONS NEWS

We are pleased to welcome back Felicity Rickett as our Aboriginal Community Education Officer. Felicity brings experience from her previous roles in schools and home support, and she looks forward to connecting with students and families again this year, as well as getting to know our new families. Felicity started at Hackham East in Term 4, 2025.

I will be joining Felicity as part of our First Nations team as AET (Aboriginal Education Teacher). As you would be aware, Sue Dunn has retired after many years in Education, the past 6 years as Hackham East’s AET.  I am very much looking forward to connecting and supporting our First Nations students and families.  I hope to see you at our First Nations afternoon Tea on Monday February 16 in the Cultural Hub.
