SCHOOL LOGO

We are excited to present our new school logo that 78% of students, staff and participating families voted for!

Our Year 3/ 4 students took on this creative challenge with enthusiasm in 2025.

• Firstly, they explored what a logo was and how it represents a school.
• Students worked in teams to design a logo that for them represented Hackham East PS.
• Students and staff provided feedback that led to the final designs that were voted on by students to shortlist as the final concepts to take to a graphic designer.

We employed a graphic designer who took concepts from each of the final student designs to come up with our 2 final designs.

Jake Chowny, the designer who is a Hackham East Graduate commented about the common theme of leaves, growing, learning, community and incorporated these into the final design with the circle representing community.

The logo will now start to appear on our school communications, and we will upgrade signage across the school throughout 2026!
