PFA news
Hello everyone
Our PFA is a very active and vibrant part of the Koonung community. It provides a great way to familiarise yourself with your child's school and meet other families. The PFA meet twice each term in the Middle Years Centre. We encourage you to come along.
Mother's Day Breakfast
Challenging weather did not keep super heroes and super mums at home on Friday 10 May. There was a super crowd at the Mother's Day Breakfast: 270 tickets booked, with at least 130 mums in attendance. Super effort!
Event highlights:
- The Year 12 Student Leaders sharing a reflection on their mum – it brought the crowd (and speakers) to tears
- The yoghurt bar – with lots of healthy options
- Delicious pastries
- The selfie spot
- Super hero graffiti wall
- Door prizes – school play and musical tickets and stunning flower arrangements
- Gifts for the super mums – hand cream and chocolates
- GREAT COMPANY!
