Year 11 

As part of the Year 11 Careers Program all Year 11 students will complete their Career Action Plan and meet with careers team to discuss their plans for post year 12.  This provides the students an opportunity to reflect on their aspirations and goals and to plan their pathways. The Careers team will meet one-on-one with the Year 11 students over the next few weeks.

 

VCE and Career Expo

On Friday 3 May, Year 11 students attended the VCE and Careers Expo at Caulfield Racecourse. Students were able to ask questions and gain important information from exhibitors representing a wide range of areas including Universities, TAFE, Private RTO’s, Employment, Apprenticeships and Traineeships, GAP Year and Volunteering organisations. There were seminars ranging from topics on preparing for work, VCE studies, industry specific and superannuation.

 

 

Year 12

Please book in for a compulsory Careers Interview to discuss career pathways after Year 12. Make a booking on the Careers Interview Sheet outside of the Careers Office. Compulsory Careers Interviews will be scheduled on Compass if students have not already booked one.

 

Year 10

Work Experience for Year 10s will be held from Monday 24 June to Friday 28 June, 2019. All Year 10 students should have secured a work experience placement by now. Supported Work Experience Workshops will be run during Recess and Lunchtime over the next few weeks to support students to secure work experience. Students are welcome to come to the Careers Office to discuss Work Experience options.
