GWR Athletics

On Thursday 6th October, 12 students travelled to Ballarat to compete in the Greater Western Region Athletics. It was great to have the opportunity to compete at a regional level once again after the event being cancelled over the past couple of years. Out students competed well and come away with some excellent results. 

• Ayla Ewing – 1st in 14 Girls 90m Hurdles 
• Isaac Lehmann – 2nd in 12-13 Boys 400m, 3rd in 12-13 Boys 100m Sprint, 3rd in 12-13 Boys 800m
• Karoraina Karatau-Keightley – 3rd in 16 girls 100m Hurdles 
• Joshua Miller – 3rd in 16 Boys 400m 

Congratulation to all those that competed. Ayla will now go on to the state finals in Melbourne to compete. Congratulations and best of luck.
