P.E.
It has been an action packed start in the PE department this year to date. It has been wonderful welcoming back our fabulous students and also welcoming a number of new students to our school. Students have settled in very well to their weekly sport classes. We have been very pleased with the sportsmanship, team work and participation levels demonstrated by our students.

All of our students gave their absolute best and we are so proud of all of them. They all competed within the spirit of the event and cheered enthusiastically for all competitors. A huge congratulations to Ayvah (backstroke) and Shenuli (butterfly) for winning their respective events. We wish them all the best for next Monday the 28th of March where they will compete in the Southern Metropolitan Swimming competition held at MSAC in Albert Park. |
T20 District Cricket (5/6 Students)
On Wednesday the 16th of March we had 28 students compete in the Edwin Flack District Cricket Competition. We had two boys teams and one girls team compete on the day. It was a beautiful day for cricket. Conditions were perfect. All three teams met some tough competition but gave their best and more importantly, had a lot of fun. Thanks to Mr. Werner, Mark Dinnie and Mr. Cutting for coaching on the day.
Events for later this term:
Active April
Active April is a whole school event that commences on Monday the 28th of March. It will run for approximately 3 weeks. Further information for this event can be found in Compass on your news feed.
Edwin Flack District Tennis
On Friday the 25th of March we have 20 students competing in a “Hot Shots” Tennis tournament at Sweeney Reserve. Please refer to Compass events for further information if your child has been selected to participate. Fingers crossed for fabulous weather and a big thank you to Ms Staude for offering to coach at this event.
Oatlands Cross Country
Monday, April 4th will be our annual Oatlands Cross Country Trials. Students in Grades 3-6 will compete. It is a fun morning and every student that competes will earn house points for their team. Students may dress in comfortable running attire displaying their house colour, Elliott-blue, Perkins-yellow, Boyle-green and Fraser-red.
Parents are welcomed to spectate but must remain socially distanced from our students. If you wish to volunteer on the day (eg. Standing at an allocated checkpoint) please contact a PE team member.
Thank you for your continued support.
