Grade Six
This term has been a great start to our final year of primary school. We are all super excited to be in Grade 6 and are looking forward to an amazing year.
Early in the year, each Grade six class got a chance to go to Wilsons Promontory for our Grade 6 camp. Everyone had an amazing time! Mount Oberon, hikes, surfing, Tidal River and so much more were some of the biggest highlights. For kids on Camp 2 the weather proved to be a bit of a challenge, but we all got through it, and it is certainly a camp that no one will ever forget.
Back at school we have been busy getting into our English and Maths lessons. We have written some awesome recounts about Grade 6 camp and have been learning about the four processes, square, triangular and prime numbers in maths.
We are also busy training for Interschool Sports which begins next term. We are all in different teams and the sports we could choose from were netball, football, soccer, t-ball and rounders.
Term 1 has been super busy, but we know it’s going to be a memorable last year at Oatlands Primary School.
