Pilgrim School is a caring, compassionate Christian community where children Belong, Explore, Flourish and Serve. Our staff provide high quality primary education from a Christian worldview. We love to see students thriving in a variety of areas - academically, creatively, emotionally and spiritually,

Pilgrim School is an independent, coeducational F-6 primary school established by the Uniting Church in South Australia in 1982. Situated on beautiful and spacious grounds, the school is part of the Aberfoyle Park Primary School Campus, often simply called ‘Campus’. It shares some resources and facilities with Thiele Primary School, School of the Nativity and Aberfoyle Park Campus Preschool. This cooperative arrangement is unique in Australian education settings and provides benefits to students and families in each of the schools.

Pilgrim School is under the governance of a Board, appointed by the Uniting Church Synod in South Australia. We are a member of Christian Schools Australia and also the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia.

School Values

Pilgrim School underpins its education with the school values: Belong, Explore, Flourish and Serve. In 2021 these values were honed and developed and bring purpose to all that we do at Pilgrim School. We offer a school where each child can find a safe place where they belong and are part of our school family. We believe from this point of security, children are able to explore the world around them, find ways to flourish and to serve others within and outside our school community.

Twelve students designed images in 2021 that they felt depicted our school values. These were developed with the help of a Graphic Designer to create icons that reflect what is fundamental to our school. Our students loved the opportunity to engage with our value development in such a meaningful way.
