Teacher standards and qualifications

All teachers at Pilgrim School are registered with the South Australian Teachers Registration Board.

 

Pilgrim teaching staff are experienced educators and between them hold:

  •  one Masters Degree
  • 17 Undergraduate Degrees
  • one Graduate Diploma
  • 7 Graduate Certificates 
  • 3 Diplomas. 

Seven staff hold a single qualification and seven have multiple qualifications. 

All staff have current Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN), Protective Practices and First Aid training. Staff are encouraged to participate in a range of professional learning activities during the year. Some of these are completed as an entire staff team or the teaching team and others are accessed by individual or a small group of staff. In 2021 this included:

  • Back to Front Maths
