Sport Coordinator's Report
TERM 2 Sport
The height of interschool athletic competition usually occurs in Term 2, and this year was no exception. Football, soccer, badminton, netball, and cross country were the sports available.
Each sport attracted a lot of interest, and it was inspiring to see how dedicated and enthusiastic the youngsters were.
Congratulations to all teams! The competitions were a great success.
The following groups have qualified for the North Metro Region Finals after winning their respective competitions:
Badminton
Year 11& 12 Boys and Girls
Year 9/10 Boys and Girls
Year 8 Girls
Darebin Division Cross Country
On Monday, May 15, the Cross Country competition was conducted at Bundoora Park in perfect weather.
Our two students who finished in the top 3 in their events deserve our congratulations:
Jacob Hardiman - 1st place in 15 boys age group
Costa Konavidis – 1st place in 13 boys age group
Year 7 and 8 Football
Our Mixed Football team had a great day, It was fantastic to see all the students playing well together and trying their best. Thanks to the coaches: Torey, Jack, Kaleb and Remy.
