Year 12 Formal
Formal, formal, formal. It’s all every Year 12 has been talking about for the past 3 months. June 16th was a memorable night for the whole cohort as well as the teachers. Kaitlyn McCleary and I have been working all year to make this event a 10/10 and speaking on behalf of everyone, we believe it was. I would like to thank the rest of the social committee for all their help as well. During the day while the boys were getting their haircuts and the girls were getting their makeup done, Keysha and her friends were decorating the venue. Everyone made their grand entrance at around 7. Some came in limos, Lamborghinis as well as some other sports cars and skylines. We all proceeded in and said hello and took our seats.
The night started off with Mr Lewis presenting the acknowledgment of country. Then the partying commenced with our amazing DJ @paytsentertainment. We had entrees and then the dancing continued for the night. Staff and students hit the dance floor lighting up the venue with their moves.
The photo booth @cheekymonkey was kept busy with students and staff creating some memorable photos they will treasure for life! Main course was delicious and once again, partying continued. The school captains then presented unique awards for 12 students of our year level which were greeted with cheers and laughter. Some examples of the awards were, 'most likely to go on love island', 'most likely to get married to a celebrity' etc. We then danced the rest of the night away. Everyone headed out around 11 and most of us went to the afterparty for some more fun later. As quoted by Ms Pizzey “this is one of the best formals I’ve ever attended”.
