School Sport

Last Friday, students in Years 4 to 6 participated in the SACPSSA Netball Carnival at Netball SA Stadium. 

St Brigid’s had four teams competing on the day, with a mixture of boys and girls representing the school. Some of the standout performers on the day included Haseeb Abasi, who defended consistently, and Muntazir Ramezan who worked tirelessly throughout all six matches. Ilaha Rahemi and Masooma Alami also played key roles for their teams. 

It was a mixed day of results, however, it was pleasing to see the students participate well, and demonstrate good sportsmanship and teamwork on the day. Thank you to Katie Day, Sandra Rapuano, Jacqui Smith and Tayla for their assistance at the carnival. I look forward to working with and preparing the students for the remaining carnivals next semester.
