Parent Contributions

Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian curriculum and we value your support towards the provision of the curriculum at our school. 

Nevertheless, the ongoing financial support of our families ensures the long-term viability of vital programs, facilities, and support for our students. 

Parent financial contributions ensure we can continue to provide the following at our school during 2023:

• High quality sportsgrounds, gym & theatre.
• Literacy & Numeracy support programs.
• Wellbeing staff and programs for counselling, engagement, and support of student mental health.
• State of the art equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters and IT software.
• Best practice interactive teaching and learning resources.
• Community events for VCAL, Visual and Performing Arts programs.
• Community links programs such as CONNECT, Learning Journeys and careers pathways.

We at Parkdale Secondary College make every effort to keep the cost of items and activities to a minimum and affordable for all parents in our community.

With this in mind we would like to ask if you can contribute in any way towards the provision of the programs and facilities we run at Parkdale secondary College, we would appreciate any funding you could provide.

CSEF

Financial Assistance

Do you hold a Health Care Card or other Concession Card?

The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions. If you are a holder of a Health Care Card or other Concession Card, you may be eligible to apply for this subsidy of $225 per year for secondary school students.

Payments are made directly to the school and are deducted from the Fees which cover the camps, excursions and sport activities.

Building and/or Library Donations

Through Compass Contributions parents have the opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to our College Building and/or Library Funds. Many of you have taken the opportunity to do this and we would like to thankyou for your very kind donation.

As the end of the 2023 Financial Year has recently passed, we are now able to send to you your receipt for your records.

Please contact pscaccountsreceivable@parkdalesc.vic.edu.au to have your receipt sent to you.

If you wish to make a donation for the 2024 Financial Year, these can still be made via Compass Contributions or by calling the office on 9580 6311 to pay over the phone.

Parents and guardians – please ensure that any changes to your contact details or your child’s medical details are communicated to the school via PSCstudentadmin@parkdalesc.vic.edu.au
