Career & VET Report

August 2021

Coping with stress and anxiety during these challenging times can be difficult.  The following is free to access through Skillsroad.

Looking after your mental and physical wellbeing will help you build the energy, stamina and resilience you need to deal with challenging times. And no, "self care" doesn't just mean spending hours gaming or wearing a different face mask each day... It means doing stuff you don't enjoy because you know it's good for you. Think exercising every day, eating more vegetables, getting rid of toxic friends, rethinking how you constantly criticise yourself... We always seem to gravitate to what's easy and fun, but when it comes to putting in the work, we get lost scrolling on TikTok. No more! Repeat after us: "discipline is freedom!"
