22/2/22 Day (Tutu Day)

Today the teachers celebrated a once in a lifetime date in our lived by wearing a tutu. Today being a date that is all 2's. Some classes did a few activities that linked to this date. 

From the Principal

Last Monday we had the pleasure of presenting our 2022 school leaders with their leadership badges.  As a school leader, these students add their voice, and the voice of the other students in their class, to school based decisions and provide feedback to the Principal and leadership team on what is working well and what they suggest may need changing. 

Last week we had our first sitting of School Council. School Council meet once a month, on a Tuesday night. At the last meeting, the school council approved a number of school based policies including those linked to our Achieve Program. All policies are currently being updated on our school website and are available upon request. 

Our 2022 -  2023 School Council Elections are now open. Please the School Council page of this newsletter for further information.

We are seeking some assistance from our parent community. We currently have plans to update our junior play group space and are seeking the assistance of a landscape gardener to help with this process. If anyone in our community is a landscape gardener, or knows someone who can assist, could they get in contact with me please.

Finally, we have a small number of students completing at the Schools Division Swimming carnival on Friday 4th of March. We wish them all the best of luck in their chosen events.
