Australian geography competition 

Koonung students achieve great results in geography competition 

Earlier in the year, 57 Koonung students tested their skills and knowledge against students from all around country in the 2020 Australian Geography Competition. Koonung students scored above the nation in 10 categories, including the year 7, 10 and 11 students scoring above the nation’s average with overall results. The Year 11 Geography class impressively scored above the nation in all 3 assessment categories. 

 

Special mention goes to the outstanding performance of Year 8 student, Jeremiah Appleby, who scored in the top 1% of the nation. An amazing achievement!
