NSW State Final of the Lions Youth of the Year 2020-2021

On Saturday 17 April our school captain Brandon Willmette competed with four other students at the NSW State Final of the Lions Youth of the Year 2020 - 2021.

Brandon was an exceptional representative of our school and was supported by family and friends that also included Mr Wawrzyk and Mr Ardley.

Of all the outstanding candidates it was Zoe Peters from Denison College, Bathurst who was selected to represent NSW and we wish her well in the National Final.

We would also like to thank the Lions Club of Terrigal - Wamberal for their support of Brandon throughout the competition. Congratulations to Brandon on reaching the State Finals, an outstanding achievement.

ANZAC DAY25 April 2021

Henry Kendall High School was proudly represented by our School Captains, Imogen Street and Brandon Willmette.

The wreath they presented on behalf of our school was made by Phoebe Kostalas in Year 10. Former HKHS students Grace Oldfield and Adrian Crnalic were also given the opportunity to take part in the ceremony as former recipients of the Kokoda Youth Challenge Scholarship.

ROBOTIC CHALLENGE DAY

Congratulations to Year 10 IST on a fantastic Robotic Challenge Day. All the students showed their skills in robotics and worked together to complete two challenges - a Maze and Robot Wars.

Well done to Kai Neale, Alyssa Russotti & Julian Nicholls on winning the Robot Wars Competition. Congratulations to Eden Turner and Zayd Akhtar for the first robot to complete the Maze. A special congratulations to Rowan Webb for his determination and resourcefulness in having to complete the challenges individually.
