OPEN GIRLS TOUCH FOOTBALL

On Tuesday 20 April the Open Girls’ Touch Football Team played Erina High High School in Round 3 of the Touch Knock-Out Competition. 

Unfortunately the girls lost to a fast and experienced team, with a final score of 4-9. The girls stayed competitive right to the end, hinting at a great future for our young team.

A big thanks and congratulations to Brianna Irvine and Clare Norris, our Year 12 students, for the enthusiastic and knowledgeable way that they have lead the team.

Thank you to Archie and Felix Tebbutt for refereeing the game in such a professional manner. 

Australian Youth Beach Volleyball

Jessica Hunter in Year 9 has been competing at the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships at Coolangatta & made it into the Grand Final match against South Australia on Thursday 29 April, in the U16 age group. Jessica and her partner have won 7 matches during the tournament to reach the Grand Final. Jessica and her partner have come away with the silver medal.
