The Principal's Pen

This week is quite an exciting one for many of our students. The Junior Primary students from both campuses will be participating in their annual beach Carnival. That is always a wonderful experience for everyone involved. The Secondary students who are in the Cadets elective this semester are going on their three-day Tribal Camp. The students gain so much from this experience and we look forward to hearing about their adventures when they return.

The event that has been added to this week is the regional student forum, “Emerging leaders of Tomorrow”. This promises to be a unique and informative conference, centring around the impact of the new Busselton Margaret River Airport. Visiting speakers and dignitaries will present real world perspectives on the industries and commerce of our region, prompting some authentic learning, culminating in an expo on Friday afternoon. Parents are invited to attend the expo from 2pm in the College gym. We are anticipating some fantastic results.

These experiences are just some of the opportunities that our students have to treasure what they do at Cornerstone.
