Around The Primary

Dear Parents

On Thursday morning the Year 3-6 students attended Mass to celebrate Mary’s Assumption into heaven.  The students have been learning about how Mary receives fullness of life in the Risen Jesus – just as all of us will receive that gift.  Our celebration of the Eucharist was beautifully prepared by Mrs Lumley and Year 3B.

It is hard to believe that there are only three more sleeps until ‘Dogs! The Musical’.  The Year 4 students under the expert direction of Mrs Sasha Cattapan, have been working hard to perfect their roles.  It has all the signs of being a magnificent and fun production.

It was wonderful that many grandparents and special guests come along to the Dress Rehearsal – they were certainly amazed at the talents of our young students.

Just a reminder, next Wednesday 21 August, all students are invited to come to school in their school sport shorts and house shirt with a cape and/or mask.  Capes that are made with recyclable materials are encouraged.

Kind regards,

Can you help?

The Secondary Religious Education Department are collecting the inner tubes from glad wrap, foil and the like (no toilet rolls please).  The Year 8’s are going to make Aboriginal rain sticks as part of their curriculum.

Please hand these in to Mrs Petsos at Main Administration.
