National Gallery Victoria Excursion

Year 10 National Gallery Victoria Excursion

On Wednesday 6th November, Year 10 Studio Arts and VCD students travelled to the National Gallery Victoria to view the exhibition by Brian Donnelly (aka Kaws) titled ‘Companionship in the age of loneliness’. Students really enjoyed the exhibition, which also included a ‘hands on’ experience at the interactive section of the gallery. Students also had the opportunity to view other aspects of the gallery, both of which complemented the tasks that they needed to complete as well as provide inspiration for their folios at school. This was followed by a walk to Hosier Lane, to view street art, then lunch at Melbourne Central before embarking on the return trip to Lalor. Many thanks to all Year 10 Studio Arts and VCD students for their exemplary behaviour as well as Ms A Long and Ms P Gupta
