Production : It's a wrap

Congratulations to our fantastic 2023 Production team

Over the last two weeks through 8 performances and 2 matinee primary school performances, 150 students from years 7 through to 12 participated in the 2023 NHS Production.  

It has been 50 years since Queen released their first album and it’s been wonderful spending the year singing and dancing to their music. The Production team had a fantastic time recreating the music of a band that still appeals to young people generations after it was created. 

A big thank you to the ever-enthusiastic staff team, your generosity of spirit and skills are invaluable. So many of our students have stepped into informal leadership positions and respectfully led various areas of the show and I am so grateful to you all. To our year 12 leaders, your initiative, reliability, and kindness has been outstanding and vital in ensuring that this show could indeed go on, thank you. 

The enthusiasm and motivation of our students to learn, create and enjoy the many facets of musical theatre is inspiring and has made for a wonderful 2023 Production team. Since February, this group of students have supported each other to grow and develop their skills. To all our Production students, a huge congratulations on “We Will Rock You”!
