Open Day 2023

Dear Parents and Students,

Our annual Mazenod College Open Day is on March 8th, from 2pm till 6pm. Students will be dismissed at 12:35 on this day and the Mazenod busses to Springvale Station will be available.

Open Day is an opportunity for our college to showcase and celebrate all that makes Mazenod a place of excellence to prospective families. We ask for many of our students to contribute that afternoon. They will be supervised at all times, their participation will be noted on college reports and a lunch is provided for our student volunteers at 1:00pm.

Participation will be in the window 2:00pm – 6:00pm. 

Ways Students can contribute include: 

• Tour guides (Years 10-12 Leaders, Prefects, SRC, Peer support team) 
• Music groups 
• Drama room lighting display 
• Year 8 STEM Robotics and Digital Technologies in Dig Tech/STEM room. 
• Year 12 Chemistry Pracs 
• Open Badminton tournament 
• Open Volleyball tournament 
• Open Chess tournament 
• Open Tennis tournament
• ACC Senior Cricket match

A google form is available on the MazCom newsfeed. Students are encouraged to read the information and sign up for appropriate activities.

If parents are arranging to pick up their sons during the Open Day afternoon, please do so away from Kernot Ave, as we will have many guests coming and going. Once we have all the student names, we will send out a Consent2Go notification in the days before Open Day.
