Holiday Reminder
In case you had forgotten, our upcoming school holidays don't align precisely with other local schools, and we recognise that this may require planning and preparation for some families.
Please ensure that you are prepared for this adjusted schedule, in particular with the bus network as there may be an impact for some students.
Our holidays commence on Monday 28th June and conclude on Monday 12th July.
Crazy Hair Day - Whole of School
On Thursday 10/06 we are going to get a little 'Crazy' at Cornerstone for a cause!
Our aim is to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Australia which provides support and services to people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and their carers and families. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder you are born with. There is no cure, and it's not contagious. It affects your lungs and stomach and requires daily medication and physiotherapy to stay healthy. Fundraising supports research to try and understand CF, and ultimately hopes to one day find a cure.
To raise money we are having a Crazy Hair or Crazy Sock (or both!) day at the Busselton Campus for Years K-12 students, and a Crazy Hair Day in Dunsborough. Students are asked to come to school in free dress, with a gold coin donation and a 'crazy' of their choice.
It should be a fun, bright and colourful way to unite in showing our love and support to those with Cystic Fibrosis.
Book Fair Reflections
Last week's Book Fair was a huge success at both campuses. Thanks to the staff and the parent volunteers, the students across the primary years were given the opportunity to peruse a range of books, and parade in some amazing costumes. It was a huge success.
The Dunsborough campus made over $1500 in sales, giving them up to $400 worth of books for the library there. Currently they are being covered and will be on the shelves very shortly.
The Busselton campus has tallies still being calculated, but it also will give a boost in books to the library there.

Fitment Centres
A reminder to all families, that the uniform fitment centres at each campus are a resource we encourage families to utilise.
As we do not wish to have disruptions to student learning, we ask that families only attend before or after school. Our administration team can open the facility during these preferred times upon request.
Dunsborough Talent Show
On Friday 18th June, the Dunsborough Campus is having their annual Talent Show. With such an opportunity to perform in front of an audience, students are asked to plan their acts to present to the enthusiastic crowd. Now is the time to get that practice happening - and don't forget to register your act at the office.
School Photo Day
School Photo Day is fast approaching!
To ensure our photographs are as inclusive as possible, we ask that parents/guardians please be mindful when booking appointments or arranging holidays.
Busselton Campus will be on Tuesday, 20th July 2021 for Kindy to Year 12.
Dunsborough Campus will be on Wednesday, 21st July 2021 for Kindy to Year 6.
Formal winter uniform will apply; including red jumper with current logo for all students in Years 3-12 irrespective of Campus.
