Year 12 Chemistry
Determining the Energy content of Biodiesel:
Both ethanol and biodiesel can be used as substitutes for petrol. In this experiment, they will determine the energy content of biodiesel.
Little Scientists Program
Our co-curricular program began on the 10th February. Here are some of our JMSS students helping and teaching the local grade 6 students. All students really enjoyed themselves and we look forward to the weekly catch ups!
Wellbeing
Our new Year 10 students during an activity were asked - "What does wellbeing at JMSS look like for them." Here all of their answers are displayed up at our Wellbeing space. Great job!
Year 10 Pharmaceutical Science
Students have been researching the routes of delivery of different pharmaceutical products into the body. They used different coloured chalk to label their diagrams out the front of the school.
Year 11 Chemistry
Students have been investigating the properties of ionic and metallic substances including melting points, hardness and electrical conductivity.
Music News
Music at JMSS is back in a big way! The ensembles are firing on all cylinders and rehearsing weekly.
