Support Edmund Rice Camp for Kids
Trinity College's very own Head of English, Ms Su-fen Chung has crocheted a magnificent blanket over a period of six months and has very kindly donated it as a raffle prize to raise funds for a cause dear to Trinity, the Edmund Rice Camp for Kids.
Students and staff from Trinity regularly attend these camps as leaders, cooks and bus drivers. Edmund Rice Camps for Kids WA Inc (ERCKWA) is a non-profit community based organisation that serves the needs of WA 'at risk' or disadvantaged children aged 7–16 and their families (families who would not otherwise have such opportunities).

About the Artist
This blanket was designed by Dutch crochet artist Christina Hadderingh. It was inspired by the National Natural History Museum and the novel by Anthony Doerr ‘All the Light We Cannot See’.
As you admire the blanket, imagine strolling through the many halls of the Museum such as the Jardin de Plantes (the museum gardens) and the Galerie d’Entomologie and seeing elephants, bees, butterflies, geodes, leaves and even shells in the design of this unique piece. The yarn used is Scheepjes Stonewashed (78% Cotton + 22% Acrylic) and it is recommended that the blanket is handwashed in cold water and dried naturally.
