Enrollment Policy

Families are reminded that your acceptance or enrolment into Curiosity is only extended once a position into Foundation (first year of school) is offered at Good Shepherd Lutheran School, Para Vista.  Curiosity Early Learning Centre is not a childcare centre that is offered to the local community and is for children enrolled only at Good Shepherd Lutheran School.

We ask for families to be considerate of other children who are not currently able to access Curiosity as they have not got a position at the school, and align themselves to this policy.

If circumstances have changed and your child will no longer be attending Good Shepherd Lutheran School, families must notify the school so that your child's position can be offered to one of the many children whom are on the current waiting list.

This information is extremely important to know as we commence some intensive transition project work with our Blue and Orange learning teams as of Term 3.

We appreciate your support in following our School's Enrolment Policy and actioning communication if your child will not be continuing at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in 2024 or 2025.  A decision to not continue will mean that your $500 deposit will not be refunded and a conversation will need to be organised with myself (Jacqui) to determine your child's continued enrollment at Curiosity.  

It always hard to have these conversations with families when a decision has been made to cease enrollment into the school as laying a firm foundation for children's entry into school is one of our major strategic goals as a Centre.  Please know that we act in the best interest of each child when considering how this decision may impact them so please do not hesitate to contact us if you find yourself in this position.
