Staffing Announcement

In Term 3, we welcome Mrs Hannah Hawkland who will be moving into an Inclusion and Afternoon Program Educator role.

We are fortunate to have Educators who wish to join our team, so it was a pleasure to recruit for this position and thank all our part-time and casual relief team members who applied.

Hannah comes with experience as a Team Leader at her previous site and spent time working specifically in the Afternoon Program.  Hannah is also currently studying and doing her Diploma placement hours with us at Curiosity so already has an understanding of how we operate and has built many strong connections with the staff and children.

Hannah will commence with us on July 24 and will spend time with Mrs Veronica as she handovers her wealth of knowledge and experience in this role.

A greeting from Hannah to our community:

I am thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce myself as the new educator for the afternoon program, commencing Term 3. My name is Mrs. Hannah, and it is an absolute pleasure to be with all of you.

First and foremost, let me express my utmost gratitude to each and every one of you for being here, as it shows your dedication and commitment to your child's education. As an educator, I believe that a strong partnership between families and educators is essential for fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment. 

Together, we can create an atmosphere where every child feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential. I truly believe that education is a lifelong journey that should be filled with curiosity, exploration, and meaningful experiences. My goal as an educator is to instil a love for learning within each and every one of our young learners.

During our time together, we will engage in a variety of interactive activities designed to encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Through these activities, we will explore exciting concepts, embark on fascinating adventures, and encourage the development of important skills that will benefit your child's academic and personal growth.

I want to assure you that your child's well-being and safety are my top priorities. I am committed to creating a secure and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable expressing themselves and sharing their thoughts.
