9-10.30 each week during school terms. Cost is $2 per family.

This week we played with balloons, made spot paintings with balloons and paint and read the book ‘Pip and Posy and the Big Balloon’ by Axel Scheffler.

Next week is our last Playgroup for 2022, so come wearing a bit of Christmas and join in some Christmas crafts and activities.

Growing Faith At Home

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are some small ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

Have you thought much about your name? What it means and why it was chosen for you?  Jesus was given the name ‘Immanuel’ which means ‘God with us’.  The birth of Jesus at Christmas fills us with hope, knowing that we have a loving God who is with us all the time.  Through the highs and the lows, through the moments of joy, the moments of desperation and all moments in between.  We can step out each day in hope, knowing that He will be with us, providing love, grace, forgiveness and strength through all that we do.

Prayer:

O come, O come, Immanuel. Please fill us today with your light and grace. Amen.

Bless:

(Child’s name) May God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be kind to you and bless you with peace.  Amen.
