MacKillop Reflection

Our Class Mackillop 8 in VCAL have been in charge of collecting and counting the Project Compassion money, raised by the entire CRC School Community as part of our Personal Development Skills class.
Caritas Australia’s annual Lenten fundraising and awareness-raising appeal, Project Compassion, brings thousands of Australians together in solidarity with the world's poor to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.
Every day, Caritas Australia and local partners are supporting people in need around the world. By you donating you have assisted them in breaking free from the cycle of poverty, regardless of their ethnicity, political beliefs, gender or religion.
The last three weeks and continuing until the end of April our class have been going around the school and collecting money from each cluster.
Every week we have raised money because people are donating and are very generous and kind. If you take notice, putting a few cents in the little Caritas box every day or once a week can do a lot for people in countries like East Timor. On the other hand staff are behind the students a little and need to up their game, the students are just a little better the Mackillop Cluster reckons.
Thanks
