Student Allowances and Subsidies 2022
Below are details of the remaining student allowances and subsidies for 2022. If a particular allowance or subsidy applies to your situation, please complete the associated application form, and return it to the address indicated on the form. These forms are also available for download on our website.
Boarding Away from Home Allowance (BAHA) $1,320
The Department of Education makes available a student Boarding Away from Home Allowance each year to families with children attending primary and/or secondary school and boarding in residential accommodation.
The allowance consists of two components:
- Agricultural Special Subsidy which applies to all students in residents who are not in receipt of Assistance for Isolated Children (AIC) from the Department of Human Services (Centrelink).
- AIC Subsidy which applies to all students who are currently in receipt of AIC from the Department of Human Services (Centrelink).

Account Related Communication from the College
Statements summarising all items charged and payments received will be emailed twice per term.
Many extra cost options are required to be paid prior to a student participating in an activity and you will receive an excursion form advising of this.
Accounts do go through quality checks, however, if you do happen to notice something not quite right, please contact us.
