Relationships in the Classroom - Opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students

Hollie and Sam from the Karadi Deadly Choices team finished up with us on Monday afternoon with a combined gathering of all year groups. They brought with them a huge picnic lunch of healthy wraps, fresh fruit and big smiles. We went through a review session of everything that had been learnt throughout the last eight weeks and then they presented the boys with strong attendance with their Graduation certificates and a Deadly Choices T-Shirt. Noah Thomas was presented with a Man of the Series Award for his commitment and sportsmanship throughout the whole term.

Broden Arnol formally thanked Hollie and Sam on behalf of the Year 9 and 10 Group and Thomas Coad thanked them on behalf of the Year 7 and 8 group and presented them both with an SVC gift bag containing a beanie and winter scarf. After some fun photos we headed down to the Main Oval where both groups fought it out in an extremely fast and hilarious touch footy match.

The Karadi Deadly Choices Healthy Lifestyle programme has already been booked for first term in 2022 and we also look forward to welcoming Hollie and Sam back for some visits later in the year.
