Lions Youth of the Year

Public Speaking Event

Tuesday 13 February saw four of our fabulous students participate in the local Lions Youth of the Year competition.  The students were assessed on their public speaking skills, with both a prepared and impromptu speech, as well as an interview.  Each of the four students impressed both the panel of judges and the Cowra Lions Club, however Sam Long was declared the overall winner and Victoria King the winner of the prepared speech section.

Sam proceeded on to compete at the Regional Final in Grenfell the following weekend, where he performed admirably.

All of the students must be congratulated on their performance - they are an outstanding group.
