Term 1: Sports Update

The first event on our 2022 Sports Calendar was our annual House Swimming Carnival, held on Monday the 7th of February at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. 

With warm weather throughout the day, it was fantastic to see many students entering events and accumulating points for their houses. 

The competition was very close through the first half of the program before Acacia pulled away to record a comfortable win.

The final results were:

1st - Acacia 358

2nd - Grevillea 290

3rd - Banksia 274

4th - Waratah 211

The winners of each event will now have the opportunity to represent the school in the upcoming Monash Division Swimming Carnival on Wednesday the 9th of March. 

We also have many other events to look forward to in Term 1:

• Senior Interschool Sport: Monday, February 21st
• Monash Division Swimming Carnival: Wednesday, March 9th 
• Intermediate Interschool Sport: Friday, March 18th
• House Athletics Carnival: Thursday, March 24th
• Junior Interschool Sport: Wednesday, April 6th
