Welcome from Parent Head of Community Group
Hi, my name is Simone Stillitano and this year along with Karla will be helping with community group.
A little introduction about myself, I have 1 daughter who is in Year 2, along with a 4 year old who just started kindergarten this year and cannot wait to join Gabby’s Angels in term 3! I have been working in the finance industry in particular home loans for over 13 years. We joined the St Gabriel’s community in 2021, and in 2022 I also joined the school board in which I thoroughly enjoy to help with some great community ideas. Some of you may already know me, and my family. We often play a huge role in the sausage sizzles the kids enjoy throughout the year, and my husband who you may have meet at sports day was the man behind the BBQ-literally! With many new families joining this year, and also existing families I would like to extend a warm welcome to you all. I would love if possible, that some parents are able to help volunteer this year with some exciting events we have planned throughout the school terms. If you would like to join our meetings, please let us know as we would love to meet some new and existing faces.
At St Gabriel’s we have a strong and active community group, with great support from parents, teachers, and volunteers. I’m excitingly putting together the first exciting event for Easter, and information regarding this will be sent home shortly. However please feel free to come along with ideas and suggestions to our next community group meeting, and have a chat and laugh also. I look forward to meeting you all soon, at our next meeting. If you would like to volunteer, please see Karla to complete a form and we can keep these details handy and contact you!

Easter Raffle
We are so excited to have an Easter Raffle this year. Please purchase via QKR! or the front office, 50 cents per ticket.
Next week information will come out regarding our Easter Raffle! We look forward to sharing our exciting prize!
HOLY THURSDAY HOT CROSS BUNS
The community group will be providing 1 hot cross bun per child. To order please place through QKR! for catering purposes.
NEXT MEETING!
There has been a change of meeting dates and times due to parent availability. The new date and times will be Wednesday, 22nd March 6pm and Thursday, 23rd March 9am, in the School Staff Room. We will continue planning for Mother's Day and other important Term 2 events.
