Welcome to 2023

In Maths, the Reception students have been engaging in various activities to support their learning in number. We have interacted with concrete materials, technology and our peers to learn about counting strategies and how numbers can be represented. Our activities encourage students to practise their fine and gross motor skills as well as their communication and problem solving skills. 

In our classes we have started Literacy rotations. We are learning about syllables and rhyme. The children are learning to segment and count syllables in words and we love finding funny words that rhyme with our names!
