Congratulations to our student artists - Innes, Charlotte, Skye, Mia, Izzy, Henry, Emma and Kurt - who all entered the 2021 Rochybald and a special congratulations to Mia (pictured above) who won the Secondary section of the Rochybald with her piece, Can you see me smile?
Year 7 Excursion to the Rochester Mural Festival
Students in 7A enjoyed a wonderful excursion to the Rochester Mural Festival to see the artists at work and hear from Nathan Sims (aka Mr. Dimples) about his mural - Keeping my distance. Students were thrilled to see our own Tegan Williams represented in the mural "We Did It Together" by Murray Ross and Jill Conway that was awarded the Ray White People's Choice award and have the chance to watch chainsaw artist, Brandon Kroon at work on the platypus sculpture. And of course, no walking excursion is complete without a group shot in front of DVATE's silo murals!
