On Friday 12th March, Rochester Secondary College celebrated and supported International Women’s Day through a casual dress fundraiser raising over $150.00!
International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women, who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
Our Duke of Ed students helped to create awareness of International Women's Day and choose to challenge the gender stereotypes impacting our world, by developing a video shared on our school Facebook page.
A challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change.
So let's all choose to challenge.
