Mr Andrew May
It has been a wonderful blessing this term to have the Vinnies students return to visiting the residents in Autumn Lodge. Students help in the dining room with serving meals, cleaning up and most importantly spending time talking to the residents. We will continue this valuable work in 2023.
The Vinnies group are also organising the Vinnies Christmas Appeal, where we are asking students to bring in a gift to be donated to the St Vincent de Paul Society. The gifts need only be small, but primarily targeted at toiletries for men and women, gifts teenagers might enjoy and gifts for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
Our O'Connor Vinnies conference has had our AGM with the election of new office bearers for the next twelve months.
Congratulations to the following students who will continue to bless our O'Connor Community and the wider community through acts of service.

Keeping in touch with what is happening in the Cathedral Parish is easy through their website and Facebook pages.
With such a difficult year and a half it has been harder for parishioner's to give to the parish through the plates, particularly when the church is closed as it is at present. The Parish account details are available on the Parish bulletin.
