Vinnies Christmas Appeal
Received letter of thanks for Natasha........
"I just wanted to let you know that St Anthony's School students have completed their first Christmas appeal as a Mini Vinnie's initiative.
It's been a tremendous effort by the students led by Margaret and the staff. They have collected a number of items that will all go into the Christmas hampers we will be distributing to the families we have assisted in the area.
It wasn't a very long time that the students had to put together the donations and they also had a lot on their agenda for this time of the year but they've done an amazing job.
Our Glen Huntly conference is really really grateful.
A big thank you."
END OF YEAR MASS OF THANKSGIVING AND THE LANTERN CEREMONY
On Friday 16th December at 9.15 all students will gather together in the Church for the Final Mass of the year. This will give us the opportunity to give thanks for all that has taken place during the year in particular for the Year 6 students to take an active part in the mass.
All families are invited to be part of the final Mass of the school year.
At the end of the Mass the tradition of Passing of the Light from the 2022 Year 6 Leaders to 2023 Year 6 Leaders will follow.
On Monday 12th December all families are invited to join the students and staff at the Christmas Carols Night by wearing festive colours such as red, green, white, gold or silver. We will be celebrating the Christmas spirit with singing traditional Christmas Carols and fun Christmas songs. The gates open at 6.00pm with singing starting at 6.30pm.
Alleluia, alleluia!
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me;
he sent me to bring Good News to the poor.
Alleluia!
May the peace and joy of Christmas be with your families throughout Christmas and into the New Year.
