STEM Resources

With a focus on robotics and coding, we have decided to purchase Edison Robots to add to our school’s STEM resources.  

These are robots that can be programmed using a language that is very similar to Scratch or ScratchJr with which our students from Prep - Year Six are already familiar. The robots can be programmed to run/stop etc., have sensors to see the difference between light and dark and are able to detect sounds, light and obstacles. 

We have ordered 15 Edison robots, communication cables to connect to laptops, activity mats and 4 extra sets of building blocks/elements to compliment the robot. 

These will be wonderful new resources to develop our students' problem solving, strategic thinking & collaboration skills.
